At the end of the subject, students should be able to:
1 To apply the basic concepts of automation and its relationship in the manufacturing system. [PO1, C3, K]
2 To design a manufacturing system based on control technologies, material handling and manufacturing systems concepts. [PO2, C4, CTPS3]
3 To analyze the quality control in manufacturing systems. [ PO3, C5, CTPS4]
4 To analyze the manufacturing support systems that operates at the enterprise level [ PO2, C4, CTPS3]
5 To work effectively as an individual and in group and present technical report both orally and in writing [ PO10, A3, LS2, TS3]
2.0 SYNOPSIS
This course discus the automation and control technologies, material handling, manufacturing support system, quality control in manufacturing systems and manufacturing support systems.
