BENG 1113 PRINCIPLES OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC Type of Subject: 1.0          Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this subject, students should be able to: 1.        Differentiate and characterize various type of currents and voltages. 2.        Apply the elements and methods of electrical circuit analysis. 3.        Design, simulate and analyze using various types analog and digital circuits. 4.        Perform experiments and present technical reports. 2.0         Synopsis This subject will discuss electric and electronic principles; electric charge, electric force, Coulomb’s law, Ohm’s law, Lenz’s Law, transformer, capacitor, electrical power and energy, direct current generation, alternating current generation and charge movement in solid, conductor, isolator and semiconductor.                   3.0           Pre-requisite None 4.0         Practical Application The students are required to carry
